I’m a football lover and in these days in South Africa there is a prelude to the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the eighth Confederations Cup.
Eight nations to test the organization and football fields in South Africa. The 2006 FIFA World Cup winners, 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup winners, Copa América 2007 winners, 2007 AFC Asian Cup winners, 2008 African Cup of Nations winners, UEFA Euro 2008 winners, 2008 OFC Nations Cup winners and Soth Africa (as host country) are playing and the expectation for the new World Cup increases. So, to connect my two great passions, I have collected 75+ beautiful Football Logo Designs.
Some of these logos are dated, and maybe they need a restyling, but the brand that they perform is most widely known… think Real Madrid, Celtic, Palmeiras.
Some others have just had a restyling: Juventus FC, Football Association of Ireland, Israel Football Association…
Logos for new competitions are a very nice work of graphic design, I’m thinking at EURO 2008, Germany 2006, South Africa 2010… they are really cool.

WOW! My favorites are South Korea, Ireland and Israel!
Israel’s was such a rip off of Ireland’s crest. There was a lot of people complaining when Ireland redesigned theirs but I love it, it’s new and fresh and people need to remember that things need to change sometime.
My favourite are of course Man Utd’s. Not simply because I’m a Utd supporter but I think its a lovely traditional crest but yet manages not to look old fashioned or out dated.
I also love the Russian clubs crests. They’re very ‘russian’ if that makes sense. The fonts used identify them as Russian clubs and I like that.
Great collection. Sure, South Korea, Ireland and Israel are good; Russian clubs crests are very ‘Russian’… but have you seen FC Dallas logo? It’s fantastic. The white-red-blue contrast that creats the bull shape it’s amazing!

Some of them are really dated though and could really use a rebrand. The most modern logo’s are great though!
The Uefa Cup no longer exists and has now become the Europa League, which also has quite a nice rebranded logo:

Nice collection. I see alot of them has a common shape and that’s the circle or a shield.
My favorite is the Swedish one.
You should put the logo from the swedish team AIK up here, then it woukd be perfect!
