I ran across this article today, as I was making the rounds on the intertubes. Apparently the fourth richest man in the world, Mukesh Ambani from India, has built the world’s most expensive house. The article reports that the cost to build the house was over $1 billion. Yes, that’s billion with a “B”. Take a look at this thing:
Now, I don’t know about you, but when I clicked on the link for a $1 billion house, I was expecting to see something amazing. I have to say this guy got ripped off. I am sure it’s really nice on the inside with it’s 27 floors, 50 seat theatre, and 160 car garage. The house was designed by Perkins & Will, a chicago firm. Remind me to avoid hiring them the next time I am in the market for a billion dollar house.
