I love Web Design Community and I daily follow many blogs an magazines aimed to propose new ideas and useful articles for concerned people.
For this reason I’ve collected my favourite websites in this post (seeking in my personal bookmarks), but below there isn’t a simple list.
The article features 32 web design blogs competing over two months in PV.M Garage. There will be two stages: a group stage followed by a knockout stage and you, awesome reader, will decide the winner! How? Using the poll.
In this stage, blogs compete within eight groups of four teams each, and they are assigned at random to the eight groups. You can choose your favourite websites (two for each group) using the polls until September 10th at 6:00 pm. Then the top two teams from each group advance to the knockout stage. If two or more blogs end up with the same number of votes, tiebreakers are used: first is Alexa Rank, then RSS Feed Subscribers.
The knockout stage is a single-elimination tournament in which teams play each other in one-off matches. It begins with the “round of 16″ in which the winner of each group plays against the runner-up of another group (A/B, C/D, E/F, G/H). This will be followed by the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, the third-place match and the final. In this stage you’ll decide the winner of each group through the express poll.
This is only my way to suggest useful Web Design Blogs written by high-skilled authors. I hope you’re thinking this post is only a nice method to share, once again, the best resources of the web. It isn’t a “real battle”, but just an enjoyable tournament between “super-heroes” (the minds behind the blogs).
I’d definitely suggest checking them all out and subscribing to each of their RSS feeds and bookmarkings their url.
I apologize, it’s most likely that I miss hundreds of awesome blogs. So Please feel free to suggest other great blogs or magazines and to motivate your votes through the comments. Don’t forget: it’s only a simple game!
